MOST IMPORT and URGENT REQUIREMENT....

A PLACE TO MOOR/BERTH "THE CHIEF" ON A PERMANENT BASIS
eg: Maritime/Heritage Centre, private pier or dock...even safe/snug harbour at anchor

this vessel has been called..... "The ' BLUENOSE' of the West Coast"
(by prominent, retired shipwright&maritime historian)

OTHERS HAVE SAID......
"THIS is the vessel that should've been on the $5 bill..."
"NO other vessel has done so much for so little recognition"

"packed more halibut, herring&salmon than any vessel still afloat"
"....called 'The Queen of Rum-Row'; smuggled more whiskey than any other"

THIS HISTORIC TREASURE DESERVES NATIONAL HERITAGE DESIGNATION

PLEASE RESPOND ASAP IF YOU CAN OFFER ANY INFO ON SAME SVP!

WOULD CONSIDER 'SPONSORSHIP' DEAL
or some sort of 'joint venture' ie: profit-sharing,
depending on the nature of the service/product

for instance....a large "drinks consortium" to aid
in underwriting costs of 'cosmetic concerns' and
refurbishing/repainting vessel; ultimately to use
the boat to reprise/retrace the 'rum-running route'
sailing offshore to Ensenada, Mexico (the 1st port-of-call for "The Chief" laden w/ Canadian whiskey, throughout a dozen years of Prohibition)

or perhaps...a microbrewery as sponsor, that would develop/brew a strong 'IPA' using images of the historic 'CHIEF SKUGAID" from Prohibition
on the label and related packaging; 5% of sales
to accrue to "The Historic Chief Skugaid" society to underwrite cosmetic upgrades and reparations

or perhaps...a local, fair trade/organic coffee mill
to blend, roast&pkg a dark/robust coffee branded w/images of the vessel over the last 100 years

as the "CHIEF SKUGAID" prepares for.....
THE NEXT 100 YEARS!
